“I recently had the privilege of meeting Ms. Ashley Dedmon at our annual breast cancer awareness fundraiser, Project Pink.  Ms. Dedmon joined us as our keynote speaker to discuss the importance of hereditary cancer testing as a tool for screening.  Not only was Ms. Dedmon a delightful individual, she was an adept and informative speaker, whose personal experience with this testing illustrated the absolute necessity for hereditary cancer testing.  The audience thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Dedmon’s testimony and the feedback after the event was exceptional.  I highly recommend her for future speaking engagements and educational events.”

“The topic of hereditary cancer testing is an important one, yet oftentimes a dry and complicated subject.  Ms. Dedmon recently spoke to an audience of over 300 doctors, medical staff, patients and family members at our annual Breast Cancer event about this topic.  Ms. Dedmon took the subject of hereditary cancer testing and illustrated a poignant, captivating and informative story.   Her story outlined the role of testing, the outcomes of testing and the personal journey she has taken.  Ms. Dedmon exceeded our expectations and the audience thoroughly enjoyed her keynote.  We continue to receive many positive comments on Ms. Dedmon to this day and, more importantly, many individuals have personally tested as a result of attending the event and hearing her remarkable story.”

“I met Ashley in 2017 when she generously shared her story as a guest speaker at the 7th Annual Pampered Pink Gala. The Pampered Pink Gala is a celebration of breast cancer survivor’s and a fundraiser providing financial assistance to those in need during treatment.

Ashley spoke with poise, confidence, and conviction, sharing her very personal story of her mom’s breast cancer journey. The room of 400 physicians, supporters, survivors, and fighters fell silent, listening to every word. At the end of Ashley’s story, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. Several months after Ashley’s presentation, I was told by seven women they had gone to have mammograms as a result of Ashley’s compelling story. Five of these women were diagnosed with breast cancer.

Because of the positive response generated at the 2017 event, Ashley spoke again at the 2018 Pampered Pink Gala, and did not disappoint! Once again, captivating an audience yearning for knowledge and grateful for a brave young woman willing to navigate them through her experience.

Ashley is a phenomenal speaker with great knowledge and energy willing to educate. I know Ashley has touched many lives in the short time I’ve known her and will continue touching many more lives in the future.”
